Bill and I had gone right up to our rooms and packed. I really didn’t have much to do since I kept everything in my case anyways. As I made my way down stairs I was on the phone with the airport. “[I need to round trip tickets to Tokyo, Japan.]” I hear typing. “[And how long would you like to be staying in Tokyo?]” “[I’m not sure, maybe two or three weeks.]” More typing. “[Alright. I have two round trip tickets to Tokyo, Japan with three weeks in between. Is that correct?]” “[Yes.]” The doors to the elevator open and I step out into the lobby of the hotel. “[Alright. That comes to the total of $2,446.]” I gasp. “[Shit that’s a lot of money… fine.]” I give her my credit card number. “[Okay. Thank you so much.]” I shut the phone as I walk up to Bill. “[I paid for your ticket too.]” He gives me a weird look. “[What? We don’t have time to deal with that. If you want, you can pay me $1,223 later.]” He nods and picks up his suitcase. We walk out side. “[You called a taxi right?]” I say, and as if on cue, a taxi pulls around the corner. “[Never mind then.]” I smile.

We got to the airport about forty minutes after we left the hotel. We hurried in and got our tickets, went through security and dealt with rude people. All together it took an hour and a half to get through everything. We finally sit down on the plane. Bill insisted on putting my suitcase in the upper holding… thing… When he finally sat down he sighed. “[How long is this flight going to be?]” “[Well… We have one stop in China and it will be a four hour switch there… so it should take somewhere around twenty hours.]” He shakes his head. “[Damn. That’s a long flight.]” He shrugs his shoulders. “[I’ve been on worse.]” I nod. “[Me too.]” Bill had made sure that he kept his hair up in a ponytail and sticking out the back of a hat and that he wasn’t wearing any make-up. He said he didn’t want to draw attention from anyone. The press, fangirls, random people on the street. Bill sighs as he looks out the window. I smile. “[What’s wrong?]” He looks back at me. “[Nothing. It’s just that I’m worried about you.]” I feel my smile grow bigger. “[Thank you.]” I hug him. We hear a ding and look up to see the ‘Fasten Seatbelt’ sign. We put our seatbelts on. We hear the intercom click on. “[Ladies a Gentlemen, we will now be taking off. If you will please fasten your seatbelts and keep them on until I turn the sign off.]”  “[My God I hate flying.]” Bill laughs. “[And yet you still came to Germany.]” I hit him on the shoulder. “[Shut up.]” He laughs.

It's already been two hours and I'm getting tired. I sigh and look over... well.. up at Bill. I've got my head resting on his shoulder. He is looking out the window. I smile and yawn. “[I’m going to go to the bathroom. I’ll be right back.]” He nods as I stand up. I make my way towards the bathroom in the back. I bump into someone’s arm, and then I trip over someone’s foot. “[Sorry. Sorry.]” When I finally reach the end of the isle I sigh.

Ten hours on a plane with nothing to do but look out the window at the clouds passing by… but then again… there are no clouds. The sky is as clear as the water was when we rounded about to turn around. As my eyes start to close while lying against Bill’s arm I hear the intercom click on. “[Ladies and Gentlemen. This is your Captain speaking. We are about to land in Shanghai. If you will please fasten your seat belts we will land in ten minutes.]” The intercom clicks off as Bill and I put our seatbelts on. I stretch and yawn. “[And think... Only fourteen more hours until we get to Tokyo.]” We laugh.

As soon as we got off the place we headed to get something to eat. Bill and I just ordered a pizza to share. As Bill and I sit in the terminal and eat we talk about random things. “[So, do you like any sports Aimee?]” I swallow the bite of pizza I had in my mouth. “[Yes.]” He takes a bite. “[What sports?]” I think for a second. “[I’d have to say that soccer is my favorite but I like football and hockey too.]” He looks at me. “[Hockey? Why do you like hockey?]” I laugh. “[Believe it or not, that’s one of the few ways I learned to fight. I used to play hockey for a few years in high school. My coach taught me a lot about protecting myself.]” He nods. “[I never would have thought that you could learn to fight from hockey.”] I turn my head a little. “[Yeah. When the players fight they don’t hold back at all. There is no such thing as mercy from a hockey player.]” We laugh. “[So… what about you?]” We both take another bite. “[Eh. I don’t really like sports all that much.]” I make a fake gasp. “[Why?]” I ask as I laugh. “[I don’t know. I just never really thought they had that much of an appeal.]” I nod. “[Understandable. I didn’t used to like them either. I thought they were useless and time wasting. But then when my parents died I needed something to occupy me. I saw sports as the only answer… better then beating up everyone I saw.]” He nods his head. Just as Bill goes to say something the intercom clicks on in the terminal. “[Flight 467 to Tokyo now boarding. I repeat, flight 467 to Tokyo now boarding.]” Bill and I stand up; Bill grabs the plates and trays as I grab the carry on luggage.

I stretch my arms out above my head as I yawn. “[Oh my God am I tired.]” He laughs. “[Me too.]” I sigh. “[And this flight would have been a lot longer had I been coming from the US.]” He nods. “[Yes it would have.]” I laugh.

The silence between Bill and I was surprisingly loud… I know that that statement makes no sense. I look over at him as he sleeps. Leaned back in the chair, pillow behind his head, blanket pulled around him tightly. I smile. “[Only Bill could do that…]” I turn around to see a large blue shirt in front of my face. I start to look up and hanging over the shoulder of the person are blond dreadlocks. “[Tom. What in the hell are you doing here?]” He smiles as he sits in the seat across the isle from me. “[Hey. I’m on vacation still. I’m allowed to go anywhere I want.]” I furrow my eyebrows. “[Tom. You didn’t bring a bodyguard did you?]” He looks down. “[Tom! You know you aren’t supposed to go anywhere without one!]” He looks back up at me. “[Well… there is you.]” I look at him questioningly. “[Tom… You know very well that I was assigned to protect your brother, not you. I can’t watch over you both while I’m in Tokyo taking care of my grandmother.]” He gives an almost childish look. “[I’m almost 19 Aimee. I can take care of myself. I don’t always need a babysitter.]” I look at him. “[Yeah you do. What will you do if a fangirl tries to shoot you? Huh?]” His eyes widen. “[Well Tom?]” He shakes his head. “[So much for me coming to help you.]” As he stands up to leave I sigh and grab his arm. “[Tom… I didn’t mean it like that. It’s just that I don’t want you to get hurt. If Bill looses you... well… I don’t think Bill could handle that… let alone anyone else.]” He looks down at me and smiles softly. He nods his head and sits back down. “[So Tom… why are you here?]” “[I came so that I could help you. I know someone in Tokyo. Bill and I can stay there while you’re taking care of your grandmother. I also thought that I could help try to keep Bill there while you’re out.]” I smile. “[Thank you Tom. You don’t have to do that.]” He nods. “[I know. But I’m just that nice.]” I smirk and hit him on the shoulder. “[Just a little. Do anything more and I might just have to start being nice back.]”  We laugh.
I know, I know... it's short. I'm sorry. I've had finals and haven't had time to make longer chapters.

At least you got an update!

Thank you for reading!
